I was born in a small county which is poor. Therefore, there were no beautiful clothes or many toys. Before I went to school at six, I only played with my peers nearby. It was such a wonderful period that I would never forget. We always made our toys independently, which cost no money at all.
Sometimes, parents would help making toys as well. We could play from morning to night until parents told us to go home for dinner. However, as a rural child, I must help my parents doing farm work in the busy season, such as planting and harvesting. Besides, my mother is a teacher. 一篇文章通常可分為三個部分，即開頭、正文和結尾。這三個部分安排是否得體，直接影響到文章的質量和得分。因此我們要同等重視文章的開頭和結尾，一開始就要開門見山，別出心裁，吸引住讀者，同時結尾也要有亮點使人回味無窮。
下面我們就從記敘文、議論文以及圖畫類三個方面分別介紹英語書面表達常見的開頭和結尾形式：
I. 常見的開頭形式
1. 記敘文類
記敘文一般在文章的開頭就把人物、時間、事件和環境等記敘要素交待清楚，使人明白這篇文章要講述什么內容。如：
20xx年北京卷的第一節情景作文是要求介紹你班兩位同學競選班長的過程。Last Monday, our class held a monitor election. 就把時間和事件交代得非常清楚，使人一看就知道文章的大致內容。
2. 議論文類
議論文的開頭一般是開門見山地提出觀點，或用簡單明了的話語引出文章要討論的`話題，即文章的中心思想；也可采用擺事實或設問等不同方式來引出話題。如：
20xx年遼寧卷高考英語書面表達主題是“健康成長”，其開頭是： We all want to grow up happily and healthily, and for the goal we must do several things.
3. 圖畫類
看圖作文所提供的材料是一幅或幾幅圖畫，對于看圖作文，主要是看清楚題目要求，讀懂畫面內容，再進行寫作很重要。如要求對圖畫發表議論，那么開頭就要先對圖畫進行描述。如要求寫一篇日記或故事，直接以敘述故事的形式開頭，比如One day, ... 等。
II. 常見的結尾形式
1. 記敘文
記敘文類的結尾一般要卒章顯志。一兩句的議論或抒情，足可以點出事情的意義。如：
We were tired but happy. 或Though tired, we had a wonderful time that day. 語句雖短，但卻表達出大家雖勞累卻高興的心情。
2. 議論文
議論文類的結尾要對文章整體進行概括總結，再一次明確所要論證的論點并深化主題。常用的短語、句式有：
(a) Finally, therefore, in a word, in short, in the end, as a result, in all ...
(b) Generally speaking; As has been stated ...; As we (you) all know ...
以20xx年上海卷為例，班長希望大家積極參與學校組織的集體舞比賽，對此談談你的看法。其結尾是For the two reasons mentioned above, it is no surprise that I have such a strong enthusiasm on the group dancing competition.
3. 圖畫類
圖畫類作文一般在對整個圖畫進行描述后，結尾要點明全文的意義所在或闡明自己的觀點，并總結全文。如：
20xx年遼寧卷的圖畫作文要求描述李明和爺爺從養鳥到放鳥的一段經歷，其結尾是：The bird was set free. Grandpa and the children were very happy to see the bird flying away into the sky. 以此結尾使全文更具有積極意義。

As a junior at Cleveland University, I am learning about the technical side of accounting through a rigorous accounting course load. In addition, I am learning to be a team player and to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. For example, in my marketing class, I did a group presentation on Starbucks. We had one week to evaluate Starbucks financial position, future opportunities, and recommend a strategy for Starbucks to compete well against Caribou Coffee. Working with group members that have conflicting opinions was quite challenging, exciting, and ultimately rewarding for me. Likewise, projects that I have completed at Creative Solutions Inc., and the Cleveland Municipal Water District further enhanced my accounting skills as well as offered insights into different aspects of the business world. My responsibilities included bookkeeping for thousands of dollars. At Finance, Inc., I would also like to make a contribution by using my outstanding analytical skills and be challenged to work to my potential by working with diverse clientele. In addition, I look forward to understanding more about Finance, Inc爆餾 role in business.
